Using Digital Artifacts to Tell

Community Stories

We are glad to have you be a part of our Learning Community.

This project will involve Digital Storytelling and the use of Digital Artifacts, where you tell both your personal story as well as interview a partner and then retell that partner's story.

Artifacts will be used to help tell some type of hidden story about your culture, family or belief system. Basically, you will identify who you are and answer the following questions. Who am I?  What defines my identity? What is special about me? What makes me unique? What makes me different from others? What do I want others to know about me as a person?

As you create your individual wikis, blogs, video podcasts, voicethreads and published books, you will answer the Course Essential Question: Who Am I?  As you retell someone else’s story, you will choose a course Guiding Question (s) to help you answer the other course's Essential Question: How Can Someone Else Tell My Story? The course guiding questions choices will include:

  • How can music, art and literature tell stories about someone’s life?
  • Why is it important to tell others our stories?
  • How can artifacts tell stories about who we are?

Welcome to our Learning Community!
